Founded as a small family business in 1973, Pacific Southwest Container, LLC started with one factory serving local businesses in Modesto, California. Three generations later, we have grown to be one of the largest privately held packaging companies in the United States. With more than 1,000 team members and four locations, we create packaging that ranges from high-volume to high-touch, from standard to sophisticated. Our history of bringing capabilities and services in-house allows us to provide unmatched quality and speed to market. We remain committed to investing in innovation, our people, and our craft.

Packaging is a craft; one we’ve mastered over four and a half decades. Our heritage, experience, and willingness to invest in our customers are why some of the world’s largest brands trust PSC to solve their most complex packaging challenges. It’s also why many of the local businesses who were with us at the start are still with us today.

We also believe that’s why we’ve grown from a small plant in the Central Valley of California to one of the largest and fastest growing independent packaging companies in North America. CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE

We believe that a commitment to sustainable manufacturing requires more than just words. That’s why we have gone the extra mile to ensure that all of our facilities are ISO 14001:2015 certified with effective Environmental Management Systems, as well as Chain-of-Custody certified.

REDUCE REUSE & RECYCLE

We are dedicated to reducing our impact on the environment by reusing material within the paper and packaging industry. That’s why we have made the investment in machinery and systems to be able to recycle 100% of our paper waste, amounting to tons of scrap paper turned back into boxes. We have also instituted best practices that allow us to reduce our VOC emission under industry allowance, and our team of structural designers are experts at reducing material by improving design.

CERTIFICATIONS & ASSOCIATIONS

CHARITABLE WORKS

Since our founding, PSC has worked to give back to the community we serve. We partner with a local organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for and self-sufficiency of children and adults with disabilities. We have helped develop the largest closet of adaptive equipment in Stanislaus County and support a wide range of special needs programs, including job training, that reach over 34,000 individuals across our community.

INVESTING IN THE FUTURE

Our team members are at the heart of our success and we will never lose sight of that. We believe that investing in a child’s future benefits not only our PSC community, but the broader community as a whole. That is why we established the Donald & Lois Mayol Scholarship fund, which provides annual scholarships to support the higher education of our team members’ children. As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
